Finally after a lot of preparation Akiba Today has launched. I believe that the website's design is rather stylish and quite a different approach compared to the many Otaku culture websites out there, especially all the figure and anime blogs that seem to stand at the very end of the production process and fail to give an idea of the backgrounds of those works.
The obvious business approach can be seen right from the start and therefore it creates a unison of design, content and professionalism that I hope can not only be maintained but rather be extended. For that to happen all people involved in the process will be required to keep giving their all well as keeping efficiency a priority when solving problems or integrating new elements in the sites structure. Of course I will do my best to manage all the parts that require english speaking ability as well as knowledge in the field in the reception of culture trends and their reception on an international scale.
My personal aim regarding Akiba Today will be the establishment of a system that will be able to let many people know about the latest trends and their presentation in a manner that is adequate to our time and therefore makes proper use of the latest inventions in the cosmos of web design.
